About Me

Please join us to support a brave little girl in the fight of her life. Julia (Juls) Stone was recently diagnosed with and will BEAT stage four Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of childhood bone cancer. She is a sweet and spunky little girl with a great deal of spirit. Her greatest champions are her mom and dad - Richie and Rachel. She is part of a loving Christian family made up of Richie, Rachel, 3 adopted children (Mackenzie, Ally, and Andrew) and two biological children (Julia and Ahnika). The family lives in southern Missouri and must travel to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis for Juls’ treatments. The medical and travel costs will be enormous so Team Juls is lending support in any way possible. We are rallying together to provide prayers, well-wishes and fundraising events. We aim to lend spiritual and emotional support and to ease the financial impact of medical/travel expenses for Juls' family during this tough time. Please join the fight with Team Juls!
There are a several ways to lend your support for Juls, so please reference the How You Can Help tab for more information. Thank you for your prayers all the support!

Painful day of fevers, countdown to scans: 20

Specific prayer request of the day: Please be in prayer for her pain and sores to subside and for her Her ANC to skyrocket! Pray the Lord strengthens her.

From Momma:
-Today Juls fever was around 102.7 highest yet. Poor thing has mouth sores and possibly thrush along with the neuropathy jaw pain. The morphine is really helping. Praise the Lord!!! She hasn't eaten in 4 days but she is drinking sweet tea.
This may take awhile to get over but I know one thing that makes her so happy, Kevin Sullivan he's her very best friend!!!
Please be in prayer for her pain and sores to subside. Her ANC to sky rocket! And for the Lord to strengthen her. It stinks seeing her like this but I know as I hold her hand my God is holding both of us! Only 20 more days until her scans!

From Grandpa David:
-Praying harder for Miss Julia she is having a really hard time. Her poor Jaws are so swollen and Jaws hurt so much she can barely talk. They Have started her on a Morphine drip to help with her pain. She drank a little sweet tea but not much she hasn't eaten in a couple of days. Today there were no smiles from our little angel. Her ANC white blood count is still 0 and her fever keeps going and down every time it hits 101 then they have to start her cultures all over again. It doesn't look like they will be coming home for a few more days at best. She is suppose to have another round of Vincristine chemo Friday ,but I think they will be canceling it. It was heartbreaking to see Juls like this I got on my knees next to her bed and tried to hold her hand ,but she didn't want to be touched. I left early to be back to get bigger kids from school told my Angel I would be back in the morning for her with another sweet tea. Please keep Julia in your prayers tonight ask the Lord to help relieve her pain and raise her counts back up if her counts come back up that will help her body fight other infections. Pray for Rachel and Richie as they have to sit and watch their baby girl laying there in so much pain give them strength and comfort. I pray for a restful night for all them. Love Paw Paw Dave.

From Grandma Mary Ann:
-Just got home from visiting Julia today. Paw Paw Dave and Pastor Kevin also visited her. She had a very bad day. White cells still at zero and running a pretty high fever off and on. Both of her little cheeks look like she has golf balls in her mouth, they are so swollen. The doctors came in and wanted to look in her mouth. She could hardly move her jaws, but she's such a good girl, even though it hurt her so badly, she did what they asked her to do. She's on a morphine drip, and it must be helping because I talked to Richie a little bit ago, and she was feeling well enough to go to the Ronald McDonald floor and to the cafeteria. I pray that God please help her through this very hard time and that He also be with Rachel and Richie. All three of them are amazing. Again, thank you for your prayers and support. God Bless.
