About Me

Please join us to support a brave little girl in the fight of her life. Julia (Juls) Stone was recently diagnosed with and will BEAT stage four Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of childhood bone cancer. She is a sweet and spunky little girl with a great deal of spirit. Her greatest champions are her mom and dad - Richie and Rachel. She is part of a loving Christian family made up of Richie, Rachel, 3 adopted children (Mackenzie, Ally, and Andrew) and two biological children (Julia and Ahnika). The family lives in southern Missouri and must travel to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis for Juls’ treatments. The medical and travel costs will be enormous so Team Juls is lending support in any way possible. We are rallying together to provide prayers, well-wishes and fundraising events. We aim to lend spiritual and emotional support and to ease the financial impact of medical/travel expenses for Juls' family during this tough time. Please join the fight with Team Juls!
There are a several ways to lend your support for Juls, so please reference the How You Can Help tab for more information. Thank you for your prayers all the support!

Not just good but GREAT!

Specific prayer request of the day: Keep praying for the scans this week, pray that we walk out of Children's Wednesday night and go home and stay there, healthy, for a long, long time! Please be in prayer for her scans and body to be cancer free!!

From Grandpa David:
-Picked up the bigger kids to take them to school this morning, and Juls said we're going to McDonalds Pa pa you wanna go, well of course I was going she ate some cinnamon melts and drank some tea. After that she came down to the store for a little bit. Had herself a pretzel stick then she went home, it wasn't long my phone rang and she wanted to know if she could come back for a little bit why sure you can. Another pretzel stick and a little Dr. Pepper and playing on one of the pedal cars with her sister then it was back off for home. It was so nice seeing her wanting to eat and drink and playing and having a good time. Thankful for all these good days before her next session.

From Grandma Mary Ann:
-This weekend was amazing. So many people supporting our precious little Juls. The Hefty Smurf Poker Run and the Immanuel Lutheran Church's dinner were both tremendous successes. I thank everyone who worked so hard - there aren't words to say how much we appreciate everything and everyone's continued prayers. Praise God for all He has done!

From Momma:
-She had a great day. We ran errands today she took a nap and after dinner we played at the park. She was blessed with a special gift from one of her favorite people Dan Breeden
I'm so anxious for Wednesday.....I've been praying like crazy!!!
I pray God's hearing me cry out for his healing hand. Amazing miracle!
To give God the glory, not the drs, not the chemo, but God the glory. Please be in prayer for her scans and body to be cancer free!!

Scan scheduled!

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray for clear scans on Wednesday, pray that the doctors are amazed! Also, pray for another little girl, Janet, and for Julia's cousin Jaron who will be undergoing major back surgery in October.

2012 Family Photos, just over 14 months ago
From Grandpa David:
-I stopped by to check on Julia around 5:00 this evening and she wasn't in a very good mood her tummy was hurting and Mommy had to put her hand on it to make it better. I stopped again later in the evening while on my way home and she was laying on couch with Mommy, this time she looked up with her big smile, I sat on the floor next to her and she took my hand and pulled it close to her hugging it and smiling. Best feeling in the world. She has been drinking a good amount of tea, but still not eating to much. I would also like to ask for prayers for my grandson Jaron Estes he is going to have to under go a major back surgery on Oct 10th they will be removing the broken steel rods from his back and fusing his vertebrates together. He will have to be in Children's for a couple of weeks. I will be going between floors to see him and Julia.

From Momma:
-So I begged the drs for a chest scan before Juls next round of chemo. The told me no twice but finally allowed one. The scan will be done Wednesday before her chemo and will show the cancer or lack of I pray.
I ask all 3000 of you [Prayers for Julia Facebook Group] to pray that the cancer will be gone. That this will be an absolute miracle a gift from God! A demonstration to the community and team of doctors that God's not dead, that He hears our cries. That He's loving and just and has mercy on us!
I believe my God can and will heal her. I don't know his timing. I pray sooner then later but if this is a trial I am supposed to endure for His greater purpose then we have no choice but to endure it. I know my Lord has not forsaken me but has blessed me. Please pray for her!!
Also pray for her appetite and strength and her friend Janet!

JOY AND PRAISE!

Juls dressed and ready to go!
So happy happy happy
Specific prayer request of the day: Praise, praise, praise the Lord for her healing! Keep praying for her scans after this next round of chemo!

From Grandma Mary Ann:
-Came home last night and Juls seemed a little better, but her stomach is really hurting. I've spent several nights with her because she looks up with tears in her eyes and says "please don't leave Grandma, I want you to spend the night." Makes me so happy she wants me to stay, but at the same time so sad that she has to be in the hospital. Thank everyone so much for your prayers. I know our Lord is watching over Julia. I keep praying that He will take away her sickness and pain. We all love her so very much. Can't wait until she can come home and we can have another tea party.

From Grandpa David:
-I thought yesterday was about the most wonderful day till I received the phone call today from Rachel about Julia's bone marrow being cancer free, I had tears in my eyes and was so excited that I had to tell everyone that was at the store about it. I even went across the street and told Nikki and Gracie her daughter about it, Gracie asks about Julia everyday, when she heard about Julia she also got so excited and started hugging her mom amazing to see how many children are worried and praying for Julia as well. All I can say is Thank You Lord for this healing of our Little Julia and we know with your help and Love she will be healed completely.

From Momma:
-I hope I didn't confuse anyone. We were told its no longer in the marrow we won't know about lungs liver lymph nodes and bone tumors for another 6 weeks. I expect to hear the same thing then. Please keep praying for her and praise praise the Lord for her healing!
Today I found out two kids passed away from cancer. One was here every time we were. It's so heart breaking!!

- I have tears streaming down my face as I just got the news! Julia no longer has cancer in her bone marrow!!!!
Praise to the lord!!!!
And the drs are sending us home today!!!

-Today I need prayer for Juls to have a bowel movement. She is having so much pain in her stomach that she just screams out. We are giving her laxatives every 2 hours. If we can get her going and then eating we may go home for a few days before chemo next week.
Yesterday was one of the hardest days yet for me. Its hard enough to see her nausea from the chemo or to spike a high fever and rush to the hospital at 1 am
But yesterday while taking out her tube in her leg she was screaming "mommy they are hurting me why are you letting them hurt me" and this went on for about 30 min. I was holding her down looking in her eyes and all I could think about was my perfect healthy little baby she was....and now here I am holding her down while she screams and I cant believe this is real. Like any second I'm gonna wake up from this dream.
Lord I pray He uses this for his glory...I can't stand the thought of her suffering for no reason.
I cant wait til this trial is over!

The things we pray for...

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray for poop! Sounds crazy, but if Juls can eat and get her stomach feeling better, we can go home and spend a few days home!

From Grandpa David:
-Been a long day, but a great day. Went to see miss Julia this morning, she was sleeping when I got there she finally woke up and I think she was surprised to see me. Shortly after she did the drs came in and talked with Rachel and Richie about how things were going. Then she went and they removed the tube from her leg Daddy got to carry her in to have it removed, but after it was done she wasn't too happy with Daddy it must have hurt coming out, She wanted Paw Paw to carry her back to the room after getting into room she wanted me to take off my boots and lay down in bed with her I cradled her head on my arm she looked at Daddy said you go home now Paw Paw stay with me. He left to go get some dinner, but when he returned she was glad he was back. We even got to go to the garden for a few mins. before she got tired and wanted to go back. I was getting ready to go but she wanted me to stay a little longer so I made arrangements for the kids to be picked up and told her I would, she looked up and told me that I made her very happy, gave me a hug , and a kiss melted my heart. Who could have told her no. Came back home later for a meeting for the truck pull everything is coming together for it. Just got back home and looking back on the day and seeing Juls looking and feeling better made it a wonderful day. Thank You Lord for this day!!

Don't forget the weekend fundraisers! Poker Run and Imo's!

A little better

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray that Juls can eat and drink and fever go away so the family can be together for a couple of days.

From Grandpa David:
-Just finished talking with Rachel again and Juls fever is now down and they are done with stem cell collection tube will be coming out in morning. Now to get her back to eating and drinking. I will be going in to see her in the morning can't wait hope to spend time in garden with her.-Talked with Rachel earlier and sounds like things went a little better today. They collected Julia's stem cells and were able to get enough already. Yeaaaa. This means they will remove her line from her leg and she can start moving around again. Julia was able to drink some on her own and actually wanted to drink, she also wanted to eat but I'm not sure how that turned out. Sounded like if she starts eating and drinking and fever comes back down, then everyone may get to come home on Friday. So this is our Prayer request for tonight that Juls can eat and drink and fever go away. Then the family can be together for a couple of days before she has to start her next round on Wed.

From Momma:
-Today has been better as far as fever goes she only spiked one during her pherisis (stem cell)Also her white blood count has jumped again. All good things there. Now we need her mucositis blisters) to be healed. She is having so much belly pain. I'd imagine from laying in bed for 8 days straight and not eating. So I pray tomorrow she can move around and possibly start eating. She drank a little today. The only things keeping us here is her pain and her not eating.I hope this changes soon it'd be so nice to be home a few days before cycle two, round 4 starts.I know the Lord has her in His hands. This is hard but I know its gonna be okay!As for Ahna the poor baby is still sick (no fever) she's on antibiotics. She's doing okay and I hope it passes soon. Please pray for these things tonight.

Stem cells, fevers and wrenches

Oldies!
Specific prayer request of the day: Praise and thanks to God for higher counts! Pray that everyone feels better and has more strength. Pray the stem cell collection goes well and that Julia fever goes down and she is able to eat.

From Grandpa David:
-Julia's white cell counts are coming up this afternoon 1855 she had to have another blood transfusion and platelet transfusion as well. We ask God for His help when we are down and worried for our Loved ones, I would like to take a moment to Praise Him and Thank Him for His helping and healing hand for Julia. May He continue to heal her through this process. And the Lord said "When you saw only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you," and the Lord is carrying Julia now. Amen
From Momma:
-I finally made it down to children's around noon after I took Ahna to the
Oldies!
dr. Juls was running a fever of 103.5. Even with that going on all her drs reassured us that now was the best time to collect stem cells. We decided to go ahead. She did awesome during surgery to place in the line and will start collecting tomorrow.
Now for the good stuff her white blood cell jumped today from 88 to 1855!!!!! Praise the Lord

-Things just got more complicated. Ahna woke up with a 101.5 fever and an awful cough. Which means she has to stay far away from Juls....not sure how this is going to work out

The road is long, God is good

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray for less pain and overall discomfort for Juls and a break in the fever, and pray that she eats or drinks something.

From Grandpa David:
-Rachel and Ahnika got home a little bit ago Rachel wants to be home to see the kids for a little bit in the morning before they have to go to school. I know it's tough leaving Juls , but thankfully Richie and Mary Ann are there to help comfort Julia. It's hard needing to be at both places. I pray that the Nurses and Dr.s help comfort Julia tonight , because she still has fever and the whole roof of her mouth is covered in blisters. I pray that her white blood cells come back up quickly that her body can heal itself of those awful blisters so she can eat and drink again. Lord comfort Richie as he sits there holding Julia because his hand on her face is soothing and comforting to her, be with Rachel as she travels back to the hospital in the morning keep her and Ahnika safe on the roads. Lord we ask you to lift all of us up during these trying times because we have placed our Faith and our Trust in your Hands. Amen

From Momma:
-So Juls is still running a fever of 102.2. The poor thing has blisters all over her mouth down her throat and in her stomach. Morphine doesn't do much. We aren't letting them take her stem cells tomorrow. Sweet baby is in so much pain and is so cranky. Please be in prayer for her. I know the end result as the Lord will bless her but this road is long and rough and only just begun.

-Hoping today is better for Juls. She still isn't eating or drinking. She is still running fevers. She doesn't really move outta her spot in bed. She still in pain. She perked up for a few minutes yesterday but that didn't last long.
Today is a new day and praying for a high blood count and her body to heal. Praying that she can eat and drink and build herself back up.

More visitors!

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray Julia's counts go up along with her appetite and spirits. Pray for strength, peace and healing.

Today was another day of visitors and more family time! Myah and Ahnika got to hang out in the garden!

Visitors and modern luxuries (a bed!)

Specific prayer request of the day: Please pray for my baby Julia this is hard for her. Please pray for her counts and complete healing. Ask that God gives
Rachel and Richie the strength they need to sit there hour after hour and watch their sick Angel lying there in that bed

From Grandpa David:
-Yes we need continued prayers for Julia. Tonight just broke my heart seeing how bad she was feeling. Nothing we tried to do helped to cheer her up. She did enjoy having people there because she wanted everyone to stay the night, even Pastor Kevin. She tried to taste a couple of things for supper, but just couldn't eat them she managed to take a couple of sips of soda but that was it. We took her some of her Care Bears but she wasn't interested in them tonight. I pray that her med. kick in very soon and start bringing her numbers back up like before, I know that when they do she'll return to feeling more like she did before. Andrew, Aly, and Mckenzie was able to go with us and see Julia and Mom and Dad. Aly about broke Rachel's heart when she asked why she couldn't come back home and be with them there. I know its really hard on all of them. So I am praying that God will help in lifting Juls numbers back up to a healthy level heal her mouth and throat so that she may start eating again. Lord heal the hurt in all their hearts and bring them back together as a family because they truly are missing each other. Give Rachel and Richie the strength they need to sit there hour after hour and watch their sick Angel lying there in that bed. In Jesus Name I ask these things. Amen

From Momma:
-Today was pretty much like yesterday. Not eating or drinking. She did however get a platelet transfusion. They finally are giving her nutrition threw her iv. She's now getting morphine for her pain. And is on another super antibiotic.
She was really crabby today but she wanted all her visitors to stay the night including pastor Kevin Sullivan.
Even though she wanted a huge sleep over every one went home. Ahnika and I had been sleeping on the floor every night but the hospital decided to give us a bed tonight. Ah...modern luxuries!
Please pray for my baby Julia this is hard for her and we were informed that this is normal after this chemo and should expect it each time!! Please pray for her counts and her complete healing

More Team Juls gear photos, keep them coming!

Four and Zero

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray that her fever goes down, pain in jaw and stomach from her chemo eases, and that her numbers and appetite go up and stay up.

From Momma:
-Wishing I could say her day got better but it didn't. She still hasn't eaten anything and won't drink. That makes 4 days now in a row :0(
She was awaken a moment ago by a shot in her leg...hoping this med will increase her white blood cells.  She did however ask to go to the garden once...even though she's too weak but she can't leave her room as she's in isolation.
This is extremely hard to watch. I have to keep reminding myself it won't be like this for long. Soon she'll be completely healed and stronger then ever!! I so miss my healthy happy Julia!
I know the Lord is using my precious daughter for a greater cause beyond my understanding!!
So I ask that you pray for these things tonight. Her blood counts, her fevers, her jaw pain, her stomach pain, increased appetite.
Pray that the Lord renews her body and praise Him for the healing He is given her!!!
I don't know how id be handling this if I didn't know God was going to deliver her from this.
I walked down to Siteman Center (where she was actually diagnosed) to their gift shop to get Juls a toy. As I walked down the hallway all those awful feeling came flooding back. Almost like a dark pit. It was so overwhelming! I got dizzy and thought I was gonna pass out. Those first few weeks during her diagnosis was the darkest time in my life. At the prayer service at church the Lord took all those feelings away and replaced them with hope and knowledge that she WILL be healed!! My God is so good.  If you don't have a church home and want to know more about my God who is so great we would love to have you join us at First Baptist in Owensville. We have an amazing pastor and an amazing church body!!

-Juls spiked a 102 fever this morning. Her counts have dropped more. Her white blood count is now 0.
Pray that her fever goes down as well as her pain in jaw from her chemo.
Pray her numbers go up and stay up.
Next week they will take out her stem cells which will take a few days then give her more chemo. The following week her cycle starts over so she'll receive the large 5 day dose of chemo.
I'm so grateful that she was feeling well on Saturday and was able to be apart of the fun.

Late night prayer requests and ER trips

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray for higher counts and that Julia heals quickly!

From Momma:
-Here's Ahnika aka TROUBLE!
Ive gotten about 45 min of sleep since 1 am mainly cause Ahna doesn't believe in long naps and she's way too nosy. She's getting into trouble in the hospital

-This ambulance was huge. Juls had to be transferred from mercy this morning to Children's. Shes running fever. We were told by mercy she had pneumonia and a UTI. Then Children's told us that was inaccurate. She tested positive for the rhino virus. The rest of the cultures won't be done until Thursday. She wont eat or drink. This evening she is talking and watching TV. It's amazing how fast she goes from doing great to back in hospital. Her counts have bottomed out again. Please pray for her.

At 3 am:
-If u are awake please pray for Juls back in er with fever

Artwork for Juls

From Grandpa David:
-Julia is back at Children's Rachel and Richie had to take her to Washington early this morning and then Children's had to send their Children's ambulance to pick her up it is equipped to handle Children's needs better than a regular ambulance. her fever is back up and her counts are back down. They also think she may have a infection and possible be trying to get pneumonia. Please continue to pray for her and Rachel and Richie.

From Momma:
-Today was so amazing!! I am so excited I got to go spend the day at the Great Reflections benefit and Juls came up for a few hours! I cannot say thank you enough to everyone. It was a community effort and it amazes me how blessed I am.

From Grandpa David:
-Today was truly a blessing from God. A community coming together in support for Julia and our family. I am proud to be a part of such a great community and blessed to be Julia's Paw Paw. The day started early and wow the number of people for the 5K was amazing and how fast some of them finished was unbelievable, then it was on to the rest of the days activities, great food lots of vendors, and silent auctions items that went beyond anyone's expectations. The best part was seeing Julia there enjoying herself. By the end of the day we had a lot of tired wonderful people that I can't thank enough for all the hard work. A special thanks to Erika & Rob for putting all this together and allowing us to be a part of it.

The Power of Duck Dynasty

Specific prayer request of the day: Success, fun, health and safety to all those joining the festivities tomorrow in honor of the Stone family. Pray that Julia is in good spirits and feeling well, and EATS!

From Momma:
-Juls holding her new Jase doll.
The make a wish foundation told her she'll be able to make a wish! First she told me she wanted to go to Disney World now she's saying all she wants to do is go to West Monroe and meet Phil, Willie and Jase!!
Duck dynasty ruined my princess

From Grandma Mary Ann:
Juls came to my house today to have a tea party. For about 2 hours, we played and drank tea (grape soda) and had such a good time. She was Brave Heart and I was Harmony (Care Bears). Actually, we had three tea parties. The first was just Juls and me and the second one she invited Daddy, Andrew, and Aly to join us. Then Daddy picked up Mommy and Ahna and we all went to eat at the Chinese restaurant where we saw McKenzie, Paw Paw Dave, Grandma Carol, Aunt Steph, Uncle Jim, and Junior. Juls was very excited to see them. Afterwards, she came home with me and we had another quick tea party before she had to go home to get her medicines. It was a great day . . . God Bless all of you and thank you for your prayers and support.

Home again, Round 2 over

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray for miraculous healing, blood counts, that Juls' body will recover from the chemo without the mouth sores or other side effects! Pray for no fevers! While on your knees praying for her please pray for our country.

From Momma:
-So today was so-so for Juls. She doesn't seem to be in to much pain. She drank water today and ate a few Cheez-Its. She was cheerful this evening most of the day she laid in her daddy's lap. I hope the days get better and not worse. It's so nice to be home!!!

So last night as I was trying to sleep I couldn't because it seemed as though my soul just kept praying! After her next cycle of chemo she'll be scanned all over. It's the cry of my heart that all of the cancer will be gone!! That I can cry out that it's gone and say let's all bow to the One who healed her. To have a massive praise service to thank the Lord for His miraculous healing.
To some this may seem like a fantasy but to that I can say, "my God has parted seas, raised the dead, healed the sick, died and rose again so I believe He's got this covered!!!"
To that I also so THANK YOU LORD

Pray for her miraculous healing and pray for her blood counts, pray her body will recover from the chemo without the mouth sores or other side effects!! Pray for no fevers she's so much happier at home! Also while on your knees praying for her please pray for our country.

Don't forget about Saturday!

We are also meeting with a naturopath to change her diet actually all of ours. So to all those angels who bring us dinner, we are no longer eating sugar!! She'll be on more of a strict diet soon. Anything we can do to build her body up and help it fight this evil cancer.

Round 2, Day 2 of Chemo

Specific prayer request of the day:Please pray got high counts, no sores, and to get to go home tomorrow!

From Grandpa David:
-We just made it back home after going to see Julia. She wasn't real happy when we got there they had just finished changing her dressing, that never goes very good. But it didn't take long for her to spring back to her smiling self. She had to try on the hats Mickey had made for her even Daddy had to try one one. We went out to the Garden area for a while she wanted to look through the telescopes. Then it was off to Ronald McDonalds House they had Mac n cheese there she thought that she wanted some , but after tasting it that was done. We went back upstairs to her room and she had a whole room full waiting to see her Tonyia, Sarah, Jennifer. It was a great evening if all goes well she may get to come home again tomorrow night sometime.

Richie looks good with braids, both girls tried the Smurf hat from Pam and Juls loves her crazy hat!

Cuddles, smiles, hugs, no matter what, even when she feels grumpy!

Round 2, Day 1 of Chemo

Specific prayer request of the day: Please praise the Lord for the healing He is giving to Julia. Pray that Juls doesn't get the side effects from the chemo. Pray for her blood counts. Please pray for strength and a clear mind for Rich and I.

From Momma:
Juls and Dad
-"Come and see what the Lord has done, how awesome His works on mans (Julia's) behalf"
"But God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer"

I could sing of Gods power all night
-Juls had a good day. No side effects yet!! She's done with two of her chemos and the last one she'll be on for 48 hours straight. They say the mouth sores can be severe with this chemo.
Extra prayers please.
Her roommate also has Ewing Sarcoma and is 4. Even though its so rare there are 3 patients at Children's with it. All given same prognosis!
I feel so blessed with having the reassurance that my daughter will be healed. This is hard but it would be so much harder not knowing!! It gives me strength to face the days.
Please praise the Lord with me.
Thank Him for the healing He's giving her and the strength He's giving all of us.

Ahnika staying out of trouble?
-Today Julia starts round two of chemo. She'll be receiving 3 different kinds a day for 4 days. Please pray for her during this time. Pray that she doesn't get the side effects (nausea, mouth sores etc and especially not the serious side effects) Pray for her blood counts.
We noticed a difference in the appearance of Julia's leg after the first round of chemo. It's the prayer of my heart that the Lord won't make her go through all this chemo. That He will heal her sooner. I have faith that her next scans will show God's hand on Julia.
Please praise the LORD for the healing He is giving to Julia. She is a testimony to many of how great our God is!!

Please pray for strength and a clear mind for Rich and I. There are so many decisions to be made and things to remember. My mind is constantly being overloaded that its truly hard to rest.

Thank you to everyone who lifts us up!! I pray the Lord blesses all those who are with us during this journey.
Pray for my 3 big kids as we are gone from them for a week. They are doing well but I know its hard in them also.

Rachel Emling posted that the Teespring check arrived, this is what all of us together and some t-shirts can do for the Stones!

St. James Derby Day

Another good one yesterday!

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray for strength for the family and continue to pray that the 6 week scans will amaze the doctors and show great things for Julia through the Lord's healing hands.

From Momma:
-Today for Julia has been another good day!! She had an appointment at children's today and all her blood work looks good so onto round two of chemo on Monday. She'll be there until Friday. Shes been drinking milk today and eating some cookies!
We stopped by toys r us today and got her and her best friend true hope dolls they are dolls going through cancer.
Yesterday and today have been rough for me. I'm typically really strong and in my faith I'm not shaken by this. But just the stress of things has sent me over the edge...just regular life mixing with life of a child with cancer. I still need to find my "new normal"
I also have zero tolerance for people who complain about little things.
Even strong Christian women get upset and frustrated. ..cause we are human.
I can rejoice in the fact that the Lord is okay with me getting frustrated and will love me anyways....

Watermelon and Baby Juls!

Specific prayer request of the day: Strength, health and safety for the Stone family as they prepare for another round of chemo next week.
Baby Juls!

From Grandpa David:
-Julia seemed to be having a good day so far. She got to go to McDonalds this morning for breakfast with Mommy and Aunt Jamie, Then she got to go to Walmart and pick out some yummies, then it was off to see paw paw Dave she wanted some watermelon and only Paw Paw Dave's watermelon would do. I opened the car door and she gave me that heart melting smile of hers. It was so good seeing her having such a great day. Monday she goes back to children's to do more chemo.

High numbers

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray for Juls to stay healthy and fever free through the weekend before round 2, and for her to eat more. Pray for our safety while we are on the road so much. Pray the Lord continues to strengthen us.

From Momma:
-Julia had a good day today! I hope this trend continues. Tonight at bedtime she gave me butterfly kisses and then told me to leave cause Dada was gonna sleep by her. Tonight as we said our prayers we thanked GOD for hearing our prayer yesterday about her becoming fever free and being able to stay home. Juls is starting to see the power of prayer. Although our answers aren't always immediate we should still pray expecting answers. I can reassure her that God does hear our prayers to heal her and He will!!
I'm so blessed to be her momma. God is doing such beautiful things through her!
Please continue to pray for good days that are fever free and full of food!! Pray for her as she starts chemo soon. And pray for our safety while we are on the road so much. Pray that the Lord continues to strengthen us.

-Apparently to much isn't always a good thing
Juls ANCis 27000!! Which is what was making her sick. She had way to many white blood cells. She's doing better today. Ate a little and drinking more.

-Today she's doing great so far!!
No fever last night and she woke up hungry!!
Praise the lord
An oldie, but goodie photo from when Ahnika was just on the way!

From Grandpa David:
-Just got back from meeting about Truck and Tractor show that is being done for Julia. Right now it looks like it will be held on Oct. 5th at the Owensville Fair lower grounds. More details will be coming out soon.

Happy birthday big brother Andrew!

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray that she stays fever free and her body can rest. Next round of chemo coming soon. Pray that her counts stay up. Most of all praise the Lord in this storm.

From Momma:
-" I will walk by faith even when I cannot see"
Julia currently doesn't have fever!! Which is awesome if her fever returns then back to the er tonight!
Earlier Juls says momma I don't want my fever so I said lets pray about it!!
She hasn't eaten today but is sipping on a milk shake.
Tonight pray that she stays fever free and her body can rest. Next round of chemo coming soon. Pray that her counts stay up. Most of all praise the Lord in this storm.
Thank you all so much for supporting our family and weathering this with us!

Happy 10th birthday, Andrew!
- So we are back home for now. Possibility we will have to go back depending on her blood cultures. But today is Andrews bday!! Hes 10 today which seems crazy!!
I want to make today as special as I can for him! He'
s been so good throughout all this.

ER trip but counts are high!

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray that counts stay high and that the fever goes down.

From Momma:
-Ugh...12 hours in children's er not fun!
Heading home1

From Grandpa David:
-Julia had to be rushed back to Children's this afternoon. Her fever is back and at 102.9 haven't heard anymore then that so far. We need to continue to lift her up. Prayers still needed.

-Received text from Rachel, Julia's blood counts are still up at a good level so they are giving her hefty dose of antibiotics to help with the fever. As of now it looks like she will get to come back home later tonight. Rachel will have to call back tomorrow to check on cultures and they may be starting Julia on some more medicines. Will be a long night for Rachel and Richie. Be careful coming home.

Sponsorship opportunities!

Suzy Wolfe is finishing out sponsorship for the Owensville area Team Juls t-shirts, please contact her today if you want to see your name on Team Juls wear!

The Lincoln County crew is looking for t-shirt sponsors as well so we can offer shirts at the events up here, with all the sales going right to the Stones. We have until September 14th to fill the back with support, $100 and $175 sponsor slots available, contact Jennifer Hollandsworth.

Joshua Wagner is still looking for sponsors at the $100, $250 or $500 for the Blizzard Bash derby car so that as much money from the event can go right to the Stone family. This will be a nationally televised event and sponsors will have their names in decals on the car. If you're interested, please contact him, Tonya or Jennifer.

All sponsors will be listed and linked on the blog, with an average of 500 views a day, not a bad deal and does so much good!

Good day and ducks

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray for good days. Start praying that she won't be nauseous next round and counts stay up. Please be praising the Lord for her healing.
Team Juls at Rhineland Derby!

From Momma:
-Julia had a great day today. She could definitely eat more but we are working on that.
Pray that she continues to have good days. Her next dose if chemo is in a week. Let's start praying that she won't be nauseous and her counts will stay up. That she can stay healthy despite the wicked medicine in her body.
Please be praising the Lord for her healing. Praise Him for her good day He gave her. Praise Him.....for everything!!

From Grandpa David:
-Just left Miss Juls house she was sitting on the couch eating Mac n cheese and getting her evening meds. She had a busy day with lots of family stopping in to see her. We were getting ready to leave and she asked if we liked Duck Dynasty we said sure we did then we ended up having to stay and watch that with her. She loves watching it almost as her daddy. Was so glad to see her have another good day!!

A new "hat" on its way to Juls!
