About Me

Please join us to support a brave little girl in the fight of her life. Julia (Juls) Stone was recently diagnosed with and will BEAT stage four Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of childhood bone cancer. She is a sweet and spunky little girl with a great deal of spirit. Her greatest champions are her mom and dad - Richie and Rachel. She is part of a loving Christian family made up of Richie, Rachel, 3 adopted children (Mackenzie, Ally, and Andrew) and two biological children (Julia and Ahnika). The family lives in southern Missouri and must travel to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis for Juls’ treatments. The medical and travel costs will be enormous so Team Juls is lending support in any way possible. We are rallying together to provide prayers, well-wishes and fundraising events. We aim to lend spiritual and emotional support and to ease the financial impact of medical/travel expenses for Juls' family during this tough time. Please join the fight with Team Juls!
There are a several ways to lend your support for Juls, so please reference the How You Can Help tab for more information. Thank you for your prayers all the support!

The joys of home

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray that Juls eats more and continues to feel good, has good counts and does not get a fever. Pray that on Thanksgiving we have an amazing miracle to be thankful for as her full scans will be around then.

From Momma:
-Thank you Debbie Diebal for the delicious supper!! It was amazing kids loved it and we have left overs :0) :0 ) :0)

Ahnika won that battle

From Grandpa David:
-Picked up the kids to take them to school this morning, and Julia was still sleeping after finally getting the kids rounded up and headed out the door I heard "Paw Paw," Juls had woke up and was wanting to see me so I went back in and she was laying in bed smiling up, she grabbed my arm and pulled me down to get a big hug. I talked with her for a couple mins. and told her I had to get the kids to school. I stopped again on way home and she grabbed me again giving me a hug, then looked up and said, "tomorrow you going to McDonalds with me." Giving me my orders already. I laughed and said yes mam!! She hasn't been wanting to eat again so anything that will get her to try is worth it. I am just amazed at the good spirits she's been in. Praying it continues and that her counts stay up and the fever doesn't return.

Cycle 2, Round 2 Over!

Specific prayer request of the day: No mouth sores, no fevers and for Juls to be healthy and happy at home all the time between this round and next!

From Grandpa David:
- Sounds like our girl is still doing good, She is finishing up her flush that they do after chemo then she'll be coming home yet tonight. Jennifer and Sarah are there visiting and playing with her I could hear her laughing in the back as I was talking with Rachel. I hear they have a video of her dancing to Cotton Eye Joe this afternoon. So glad she's feeling up to dancing and having a good time. Praying for her to continue doing good and for them to have a safe trip back home. Hoping to see her in the morning. Giving praise to God Almighty for all that he has done for Julia. And asking him to touch and heal the other sick Children I see them laying in their beds as I walk down the hallway to Julia's room and pray that God heals their bodies of this evil cancer that is with in them.

Cycle 2 Round 2 Days 1 and 2- Rednecks, popcorn and answered

Saturday - Day 2

From Momma:
They've always been country girls!
-What does a little girl do while receiving her chemo?
Turn up Cotton Eye Joe and dance in her underwear of course!!
Juls says it about to get redneck up in here!
Praising GOD shes happy and dancing! Papa was even dancing

-She's still asleep her chemo and colds are knocking her out. Baby girl needs her rest.
Praying god keeps her well through this.

From Grandpa David:
-What a wonderful afternoon, went to see Julia she was sleeping when I got there. Rachel said she had been sleeping all day. Rachel woke her up and when Juls saw me her eyes popped open and she smiled at me. I told her I had brought popcorn Richie grabbed a bag and popped it. I sat on edge of bed and we shared it. That made her happy. Her nurse came in and said she needed to get up and move around, but since she is in isolation we had to stay in room. Her nurse said maybe you can dance so we turned on Cotton Eye Joe and we danced and danced she was laughing and having a great time. It was bath time so I was going to leave, but she said Paw Paw you wait don't leave yet. I helped her get her ninja turtle jammies on we laid on the bench couch for a few mins snuggling finally I told her I had to go home. I helped her back to her bed and gave her a goodbye Kiss and hug hated leaving but she was getting tired. Thank the Lord for such a wonderful day!!

Friday - Day 1

From Momma:
-Princess is getting her meds. Tonight she's Princess Belle and Ahna is Snow White. She's doing ok. Shes on isolation cause she has not one but two viruses. So no garden or Ronald McDonald family room. Just a weekend of care bears. They lowered her dose to try to prevent mouth sores. Please pray that she can fight these colds and prevent mouth sores. Her scans will be the week of Thanksgiving.

-Still haven't started chemo. The hospital is full so we are waiting for a room before she can be admitted and start chemo. She will be in isolation because she has a cold. The hospital seems crazy today I'm wondering if its it's a full moon. We've been sitting in a tiny room since 9:30 about to go crazy. Hopefully soon we can get this ball going

From Grandpa David:
-Juls was up early ready to go for her next treatment she gave me a big hug and Had me carry her out to their vehicle. Getting to the hospital they found out it would be a while til they got a room. They got their room a little while ago and is now receiving here Med. Praying they don't make her to sick. She wanted popcorn a few mins. ago told Rachel I 'd get my boots on and be there in a little while she said she would be asleep by that time so they were looking for some there. Keep them all in your prayers for a speedy return back home!!!!

A milestone, kiddie cones and small pleasures

Specific prayer request of the day: Keep praying that this round of treatment will not be as hard on Julia.

From Momma:
-Miss Juls is still asleep but soon we will be on our way back for her next round of chemo. Each day that goes by is one day closer for this to be over and healthy Julia to be back. Today it has been 3 months since Dr. Barg told me something didn't look right with her bone in her leg. My world has stopped. I can't grasp the season change and the holidays coming up. To me it's still July!
Soon we will do her next scans! Full body scans, I cant wait to hear that its all gone that's shes healed. I cant wait for the drs to say that its a miracle!! She is a miracle an amazing child sent by God for a purpose that is bigger then anything I can imagine.
I praise God for her and her healing!! It's gonna be a glorious day when I tell you its all gone and all the praise will be to God.

From Grandpa David:
-Miss Juls woke up this morning and wanted to wear her Walmart heart shirt that Ken had given her she really looked good in it. Ken she's coming after your job. I asked her what she was doing today and she said 12:30 paw paw be at McDonalds so I called Rachel later to see if they were going and yep they were so off to McDonalds I went. I opened door of their car and Juls had fallen asleep while driving up there. I carried her in and held her while she slept, Grandma Mary Ann was there too and asked if she was getting heavy that she would hold her and I said no I was fine ,she said I was afraid you'd say that, ohhh I guess I can share and gave Juls to her. Shortly after that she woke back up and wanted a kiddie cone. She got to play with her siblings this afternoon which was nice since she has to go back in tomorrow morning. I keep Praying that this round doesn't drag her down like before. Asking for continued prayers for these next few days to lift them all up and for them to have safe traveling back and fourth. Keep up the Fight Juls were all right here with you. Love Paw Paw

From Grandpa David:

Lol We had lunch together with Mommy, Ahnika, and Grandma Mary Ann. I bet you can't guess where we ate, yep Chinese she ate pretty good to. Glad she is having these good days. I am praying this next treatment isn't as hard on her as it was the first time she had it. This treatment brought her way down thankfully she has been getting stronger and maybe her body will handle it better. Dear Lord keep looking after Our Little Angel and Rachel and Richie during this difficult time.

From Momma:
-Juls had so much fun going to Belle High School today. The ladies softball team raised money for her. They were all so sweet and she loved them. Thank you so much!!

She had just finished her bath and it must have made her hungry Daddy fixed her some ramen noodles and she wouldn't even share. The family went to the movies this afternoon and had a good time. Thank you Lord for all these good days and praying they continue. Julia will have to go in Friday for more Chemo, and praying she comes back feeling as strong as she did after this last treatment.

Scare Away The Cancer Fundraiser

From Grandpa David:
I really missed getting to see Miss Juls and all the kids today. I stopped by the house early this morning ,but it looked like only Richie was up so I wanted to let them rest. Later I called and Rachel said that Juls was all excited to go to Scare away cancer event for her. Rachel said she enjoyed riding Princess and it looks like she did. They came home early even though the event went on into the night. Didn't want to over do it. I am looking forward to spending some time with them tomorrow. Another wonderful day the Lord has gave us.

10/18 - GREAT God and great day!

From Momma:
-The kids got home from school early. Every one is playing in the yard. It's a beautiful fall day. We have chicken and dumplings in the crock pot and pumpkin cake in the fridge. On a day like this it's so easy to get caught up in the greatness of life and completely forget to thank the One who gave it to you. When things are easy and are going good we often forget to thank God.
Not today, I'm praising God for this day and all beauty. These days are wonderful. Thank you Lord for Julia being home the beautiful weather and warm food to eat and most of all this wonderful family that He's given me. I praise Him for Julia's healing. For taking her 20% survival and making it 100%.
Thank you great LORD

From Grandpa David:
-Thanking the Lord for such a wonderful day, getting to share it with family and so many special friends, thanks to everyone taking time to stop by and say hello and letting us know that they are keeping Julia and our family in their prayers. Prayers are being answered and give God the glory for these answered prayers. Julia had another good day can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. - feeling blessed.

10/17 - Hippos and lunch dates

From Grandpa David:
-Julia woke up this morning in a good mood when I got there to pick up her siblings for school she was playing with them laughing and having a good time. She called Grandma Mary Ann and went out for lunch. Later she called me to tell me she was painting her hippo,
"Hummmm hippo."
"What color are you painting your hippo?" I asked
"All colors."
"Oh."
I stopped by later and she had just fallen asleep. I had 2 ladies come in to the store today and said they are following Julia here. The one said she has not met Julia but can't wait till the day she is healed and we can all Praise the Lord and celebrate all that he has done through Julia.

From Grandma Mary Ann:
-Julia had Rachel call me to meet them at McDonald's for lunch. I was so happy!! Juls called me a bit later and asked if I'd go to the Chinese restaurant instead which of course I did. When I opened her car door, she squealed "Grandma." She was so happy today, laughing and having a good time. She took Ahna's hand and was walking with her in the restaurant. What a beautiful picture they made. What a happy day!! Thank you Rachel, Julia, and Ahna. Praise God!

10/16 - Back home with good counts!

They missed each other so much. Aly is reading to Julia tonight.
So sweet

From Grandpa David:
-Julia's is home this evening and she is doing great !!!!! Stopped by to see her she was dancing like a ballerina laughing playing having a good time. Eating ice cream and wouldn't even share just teased me with it. LOL was a great evening Thanking the Lord that she is doing so good.

10/15 - Counts are up and baby is walking!

From Momma:
-Today has been exciting
Juls numbers took an amazing turn from 85 to 700. No fever or infections. She feels great. We are staying at the McDonald house and Juls thinks it's so cool.
My sweet trouble maker Ahnika decided that walking is funner then crawling and has been walking all day!
We miss our other kiddos but I know they are in good hands!
Keeping praying for my little Julia prayers are being heard and God is answering our prayers.
God's amazing works are all around us that we take them for granted everyday!! Sometimes it takes something major to reopen our eyes.

-Anc soared over night from 85 to 700 they told us it was still dropping! It looks like we may bust outta here today!!
Yay

From Grandpa David:
-Julia made it out of the hospital today Yeaaaa!! She has a eye doctor appointment in the morning at Children's so they were able to stay tonight at the Ronald McDonald house that way they won't have to be driving so much. So happy she bounced back so quickly just another sign of God healing hands on her. Juls is enjoying being at Ronald McDonald house. Thank You Lord for looking after our family!!!!

From Cousin Sarah:
-It's weird to go more than a week without seeing Juls now!! But that's good because that means she's at home more. She was admitted back to the hospital for a transfusion today, but seems to be doing great so far, and should get to home soon. This is from last week, but I forgot to post it.

TeamJuls is even in school!

10/14 - Back to the hospital

From Momma:
-Juls has been admitted for low blood counts fever is gone but they still had to run several test shell be here for at least 2 days. She's not feeling well

-Heading east to Children's
:0 (

From Grandma Mary Ann:
- Got home about an hour ago from visiting Julia. She was all smiles when I got there. They didn't start the blood transfusion until late afternoon. After I left and her transfusion was complete, Richie said she went to the playroom. Please continue to pray for our beautiful, brave little girl. Thank God for all He has done.
I want to say thank you to all the people from MoDOT and our church for bringing the wood for Rachel and Richie. Richie was absolutely amazed and so thankful. It took a lot of worry off him. Thank all for your continued prayers. Praise God!

From Grandpa David:
-Rachel just called said Julia got her blood transfusion and that her color has returned fever is completely gone. Her counts are still going down, but as soon as they start back up and look like they will continue going up it looks like they may get back out. Richie got into Ronald McDonald House this time which is much closer to hospital and since he finally has gotten in it will make it easier next time he needs a place to stay!!

-Praying that Julia's counts come back up quickly and that the fever stays away so they can return home quickly. Dear Lord continue to look after our Little Angel and be with Rachel and Richie and Ahna during their time there.

Another day at home!

Specific prayer request of the day: Praise that the fever has stayed away. Pray for improved counts!

From Momma:
-Still no fevers!!!
Praise the Lord! She's eating and drinking lots of milk. Can't say she's eating healthy foods but she is eating. Her skin is getting an ashy gray cast to it. I don't know if it's cause she needs a blood transfusion or what. I know her counts are low but will find out how low tomorrow. She's being a silly happy girl right now!!
Praying for a great week! We have been home 6 days straight and its so nice. Can't wait 'til this is all a distant memory.
Thank you Lord for Your healing in my daughter and I pray Your blessing and healing for all of Julia new friends

From Grandpa David:
-Julia's having a good day and so was Paw Paw. I got to spend the afternoon with her and the kids. Julia and I played in the swing at Jamie's for a long time. Then she was hungry so we went in she wanted marshmallows because they were soft and she drank quite a bit of water. We sat down watch Tom & Jerry on TV while I rocked her next thing I knew she was sound asleep. I rocked her for a long time. Special time for me today and I thank the Lord for it. Looking forward to many more days like this one.

Wood blessings!

Specific prayer request of the day: Please pray she starts feeling better and her counts start to rise soon and we don't have to go into the hospital this time.

From Momma:
-Today we had trucks upon trucks full of wood delivered to our house from our church family as well as riches work family. Richie isn't able to cut our wood this year with everything going on. But now we are good for a while!!!!

Julia's low fever has been gone most of the day. She seems to be doing really well. Her counts are really low so we continue to stay away from crowds. She's been hungry for McDonald's for breakfast and Chinese for lunch and supper.
We started getting to go containers for her.....we all love Chinese but not twice a day everyday!
The Zumba girls did great today and I'm so thankful for all those ladies its so amazing! Wish I could have been there.
So overall I praise the Lord because today was a great day!!
Keep praying for her your prayers are being heard!
You all are such a blessing

-All night and so far this morning Juls has been running a low grade fever. If it goes up we will have to be admitted. Overall she's tired and a little crabby I'd imagine from low blood counts. She has to stay away from people while her counts are so low.
Please pray she starts feeling better and her counts start to rise soon and we don't have to go into the hospital this time.
It's such a beautiful fall day we would love to enjoy it at home.
Praise the lord for her healing and the amazing gift he has given us.
A little girl whose showing the community that miracles still happen. That people are still caring and kind. And above all that GOD still hears and loves us.

From Grandpa David:
-Thanks to everyone that helped bring wood to Rachel and Richie's today. I know how hard of work it is cutting and splitting and getting it in. To have this many people come together and help was amazing. All I can say is thank the Lord for such wonderful people. The people of this community just keeps giving and giving the support is overwhelming. Julia is still hanging in there she is showing sign of being a little more tired with her counts being down so low. But overall she is doing good. Lord continue to lift them up and heal Little Julia back to health so that her smiling face and laughter can touch the hearts of people everywhere, I pray that through her more people are finding their way back to you!!!!!

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray that Juls fever stays away and her counts come back up.

From Grandpa David:
-Happy Anniversary Rachel and Richie so glad the two of you were able to go have dinner today. Grandma Mary Ann watched Julia and Ahnika so they could. Sounds like they all had a great day. Miss Jul's was sleeping this morning when I picked up the big kids so I missed getting to see her. I stopped off after work and she was in her rocking chair she was a little cranky she was wanting Daddy to hurry up and get home with her Chinese for supper. Her fever is still down and she is still wanting to eat so all good signs so far!! A big Thank You to everyone for all the continued thoughts and Prayers!!!!!

From Grandma Mary Ann:
-What a very special day! I got to watch Juls and Ahna for a few hours today. Juls had a pretty good day and she and Ahna were such a joy. Juls is a very good big sister. Ahna wanted to lay on her, but she said "sorry Ahna, I have tubes but when they take them out in the winter, then you can lay on me." Ahna just smiled and moved as if she understood. Thank everyone again for your prayers. Praise God for all He is doing.

Here and then gone: no more fever!

Specific prayer request of the day: Keep praying that her counts stay up and the fever stays away.

From Grandpa David:
-Talked with Rachel a few mins ago Julia's feeling better more playful and fever seems to be down, Julia's anc level is dropping it's down to 390 most likely she will have to go in sometime over the weekend for more transfusions. As long as the fever stays down or away she'll be able to come back home.
-Today was a up and down day for Julia when I got there to pick up the older kids this morning she wasn't in a very good mood she pulled covers over her head so I sat down next to her talking with her and the next thing she was peeking out of the covers grinning R
achel brought her some med. so I acted like I was going to take it so she hurried up and took it giggling that I didn't get it. When I left she was in a better mood. Later today she started getting a fever Rachel asked for prayers and soon after her fever was gone again. When I brought the kids home from school she looked like she wasn't feeling good again. Nurse came this afternoon and took blood we should know soon what her counts are doing. Praying they are still up. Let's keep praying that her counts stay up and the fever stays away. She has been doing so good at home.

From Momma:
-I'm not joking fever's gone checked it twice!  Maybe the nurses thermometer was off or maybe answered prayers!!
-Pray for princess her fever is 99.9. If it goes up anymore then away we go

From Grandpa David:
-Today was another good day for Julia. Her actually felt like eating and drinking. Eat she breakfast then she came over to my house and was trying to raid our cabinets. Sorry Juls most of the snacks are gone from our house the bigger kids used them in their lunches, so off to Chinese for dinner she ate good there too. Then she went home where she had Cheetos, popcorn, pancakes, more popcorn lol we couldn't stop her is this our Juls. It was great seeing her being able to eat and wanting to. She didn't very much of her anti-nausea med. today yeaa. Thank the Lord for all her good days and may she continue to have more. Jesus said bring the children to me so I can lay my hands on them, I know Jesus has laid his hands on our Little angel. Thank You Lord!!!

From Momma:
-Today as I'm getting dinner ready I turn around and see the girls have Cheetos on the couch, Fruit Loops smashed on the floor, every room filled with toys, drinks spilled. This used to exhaust me. But today I smile because it means we are home. That Julia and Ahna are happy and playing. Julia is eating great and leaving a trail behind her. It means when my kids come home from school we can all sit together and eat. Its a simple normal day that's so wonderful

Team Juls gear might be a good luck charm for the Cards!

Twizzlers, smiles, who stopped by and a special share from Grandpa

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray tonight for Julia's blood counts!

From Grandpa David:
- I received a request for prayers for this young man's battle so please include him in your prayers. Lord please this lift young man up and lay your healing hands on his body to drive out this awful cancer.

Join Jareds Journey Facebook Group

This post was very difficult for me to put into words. Today was one of the hardest days we have had since diagnosis. Jared's cancer had returned in his right lung a few weeks ago and we started chemo in hopes of shrinking the tumors. Unfortunately we received word today that the doctors do not believe that the chemo is working. Jared will have a cat scan next week to confirm but if the tumors have done what we fear, which is grow despite the chemotherapy, we are in a very tough position. Jared is not done fighting and has stated this but it comes down to the fact that Jared has received all proven therapy for Ewings so any therapy we give him at this point will be a shot in the dark. This is amazingly frustrating for me. This is why childhood cancer research is so important. I have a child who is ready to fight but has no weapons to do so and its unfair. So please, Pray for a miracle for my baby. Pray that the drs are wrong, and if not then Pray that any new chemo will at least offer him symptom relief without making him sick...pray that we can try radiation and it helps his comfort because he is not giving up and we are standing behind him and beside him and supporting his choices 100%. This is his journey and we are simply along for the ride.

From Momma:
- Who stopped by my house this evening I'm sorry I didn't catch your name
- Praying tonight for Julia's blood counts. I'm trying things that's supposed to help her immune system but she doesn't want anything to do with it. The only thing she says taste normal are Twizzlers :0 ( I hate feeding her sugar but I've tried every fruit and veggie in season.
If her counts drop we can still stay home but we have to keep her fever free.
So any and all visitors wear a mask and sanitize hands at the door. Its so important she doesn't catch anything.
Please be in continued prayer for her
Having fun at Papa's Store

Round 1 Complete - Home!

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray her counts stay high and that there are no infections, it's such a joy to have happy, giggly Juls back, praise God for that and ask that He keep her healthy and strong and HOME!

From Grandpa David:
-Stopped in to see Juls for a few mins. I put on my mask before entering and when she came around the corner I acted like I was a robber, she said paw paw you scared me then then went into her big laugh that was so cute. We watched tv and played while she munched on her cucumber she was in a really good mood. Lots of smiles and laughing. Jim and Steph stopped by so I told her see you in the morning, she looked up and smiled and shook her head yes!!!!!!!!!! Lord keep looking after our little Jul's that her counts stay up and her fever and infections stay away. It is so nice having her smiling face home again.
-Sounds like miss Juls is getting ready to come home!! Yea!!!!!!!!! Let's pray her numbers stay up and her fever stays away this time!! Due to the increased chance of infections anyone coming into the house will be asked to wear a mask and sanitize at the door before coming in even Paw Paw. I hope she will be able to spend a few days home this time. Can't wait to see her again in a couple of hours. Continued prayers for this Little Angel and all Gods sick Angels. Cycle 2, Round 1, Day 5 - Jamboree and LOTS of vistors

From Momma:
-Juls has been handling this round of chemo a little better shes been getting much needed rest. She didn't eat much today but I hope I can get some healty stuff down her when we get home!
She had several visitors today but her favorite was Papa Dave!!
Please pray for her health and her counts. Her counts will start dropping soon and I pray she won't end up in the hospital again before her next round. Thursday is Richie and I's 10th anniversary and we aren't planning anything but it will still be nice to be away from the hospital.
Please continue to pray for her. Praise God for all he has done!!
Without Christ I couldn't face the day but because of him I have hope, faith, reassurance that my little girl will win this battle

A special Thank You for all the volunteers for their hard work and support to make this Jamboree a BIG success. We didn't get to stay for all of it because I had a Little Girl wanting to see Paw Paw so off to the hospital we went. Juls was sitting on Daddy's lap when we got there watching Care Bears movie she looked up with her big smiles when we walked in. She seems to be handling this round of chemo better since her first day on Wed. if all goes well she may get to come home tomorrow night. Praying that she does. I was just getting ready to leave when Corey and the crew showed up with Tuffy, Jul's really enjoyed seeing him he had her laughing that was so nice to see. Tuffy we will have a special place in our hearts for all that you did this weekend at the truck pull and hospital for Juls Thank You. There are so many people that have helped in so many ways that we can't begin to Thank Everyone enough, All I can say is I am so glad that we have such a huge Family support team, Prayers, phone calls, just stopping by wishing us well. Lord Bless each and everyone of these people they are your special angels.

Here's a video of Juls talking with Tuffy about painting her with her toes!

Pullin for Juls!

Thanks from the family

"Just now getting home from the truck and tractor pull for Julia. The pull is still going on I can hear them all the way out here at my house. Despite the rain and temp. dropping it was basically a sucess. ... The support from the pullers was unbelievable they even donated their winnings back to Jul's. Today has been a long day but worth it for Julia. .... I want to Thank everyone that was part of today's event for all their hard work and time without you this could not have happened. "

"I'm still just stunned. So many people spent hours working the track, my best friends were right there with me praying the sky would clear up, guys pulled their trucks and tractors from all over the place, waited 2 hours in the rain, and then donated their winnings PLUS extra money..all back to some little girl they don't know."
"Thank you so so so much to all the people who worked so hard to put it on, the pullers and everyone who sat in the rain and cold."
-Cousin Sarah

From organizers and and attendees

"Last nights Pullin' For Juls Truck Pull was a tremendous success. I was worried the rain would interfere with our event. However, just when I was being asked to attend a meeting to decide whether or not to cancel truck pull, I heard everyone get excited. Looked up in the sky and saw Julia's rainbow. I knew it was okay, and like always this was her sign from God that he is with her. The meeting was unanimous, and all drivers were ready to pursue event. Even had one guy cheering, "Lets do it for the girl! We are here for her!!!!!' The support was just emotionally wonderful. Most pullers donated their winnings back eagerly. I cannot begin to name people for their support. I do know that paw pa Dave worked nonstop and worked so hard. He would do anything for his family, and that was evident last night. He worked from beginning to end with a smile on his face. Julia is truely blessed and so are we for having the opportunity to know her and her family."
-Jodie Keeney-Wilson

"I was so blessed and impressed to be apart of "Pullin for Jules"!!! So many people worked so hard to make this happen! I started to get a bit discouraged when the weather wasn't cooperating, and when it came time to make a decision to go on despite the rain or cancel, I asked all the pullers what they wanted. When I said raise your hand if you want to cancel, NOT A SINGLE hand went up!! They all said we pull!!! And That we did! Well over half the pullers donated prize money back and many more gave donations!! So proud and tired!!! It was a success!!! "
-Amy Jo E.

"Last night's truck and tractor pull was amazing. I can't say enough how thankful we all are for everyone that came out and supported Julia last night. I want to say a personal thank you to each and every volunteer and puller because without you guys last night would not have been possible. It was truly amazing to see all the support and all the love from everyone. We had a ton of people willing to drop everything and help in any way possible. The concession stand workers, the people that work the gate and all the people helping with the truck pull itself. You guys will never know how much the family appreciate you all. The organizers and committee members all worked extremely hard to make sure this was a success. A double rainbow in between rain showers showed us that Julia was truly there with us watching all the awesome things going on. Also Tuffy the rodeo clown was amazing and a whole lot of fun. Thank you so much for all you have done as well."
-Suzy W.

"I didn't know there were so many different shirts supporting Juls!!!! It was amazing to see all the people in their array of Team Juls !! Everyone loves you & are pulling for you!!! God Bless all the family, friends, sponsors for all their hard work! Once again, God brought the community together to rally for Julia & family once again, love, prayers & support. Even Jaron worked hard for his little niece!"

Cycle 2, Round 1, Day 4 - Pullin day and vistors!

From Grandpa David:
Just now getting home from the truck and tractor pull for Julia. The pull is still going on I can hear them all the way out here at my house. Despite the rain and temp. dropping it was basically a sucess. It was later before they were able to get the track in shape to start pulling, but once they did we had a great pull. The support from the pullers was unbelievable they even donated their winnings back to Juls. Today has been a long day but worth it for Julia. Tomorrow will be another busy day we will be in Union to help support Kids Jamboree. It will be at Union Park from 11:00 am till 4:00. Then it's off to see miss Julia can't wait to see her. She's been on my mind all day. I want to Thank everyone that was part of today's event for all their hard work and time without you this could not have happened. Praying tonight that Julia is having a good night. Sleep little one I'll see you tomorrow.

From Grandma Mary Ann:
Went down to see Julia after I dropped off the other grand kids at school yesterday. Got to stay a little longer cause Rachel was going to pick up the other kids from school and bring them to the hospital. I also brought Julia cinnamon melts like paw pa did but she still wasn't interested in eating them! She had gotten sick from the chemo and that was what she thought made her sick. Later I started to take a bite of one and she said "Grandma you'd better not eat that it will make you sick!" Got to see her feet and hand paint, go to the garden, and later do some Picasso art. Kate, a little girl from Hermann, was in the art room with her. Julia left a little earlier than Kate and after we got back to our room for awhile, Kate came in and gave Juls a picture she had made for her. In between and after all that, she snuggled in my arms and we watched Care Bears for several hours. Praise God for all he has done. Thank everyone for all the thoughts and prayers and please say a prayer for Julia's friends at Children's, Kate, Janet, Olivia, and Malaysia and all the other sick little children there.

Cycle 2, Round 1, Day 3 - Sleeping Beauty

From Grandpa David:
-Got up early this morning and went to St. Louis to see my little Juls I was trying to be there when she woke up , but she was already awake. Her mom told her I think Paw paw is coming and she gave her a big smile. She loves cinnamon melts so I had to take her some , but she wasn't in mood for it today. We all went down to therapy to do hand and feet stimulation the put a big piece of paper on the wall and she got to paint a pic using her hands and feet, then they took it to her room and put it up for her. We also went to the Garden, then off to Ronald McDonald room, we just hung out there

-Message about Hometown Appliance: I'm sure by now most of you know that Julia is my Granddaughter and that she has Ewing Sarcoma Cancer she is being treated at Children's Hospital. I also have a grandson Jaron that is about to under go another major back surgery on Oct. 10th. If you come by the store or call and can't reach me I will most likely be at the hospital. Some days I may open and get a call from one of them and I will close and go. ... I will still try and help you the best that I can. Please remember both of my grandchildren in your prayers and Thank You for your help and understanding!!

From Momma:
- Sleeping beauty
The chemo just wipes her out.
Praying again for counts to stay high. She does so much better at home. We have two more rounds of chemo then we go home and hopefully stay there for 2 weeks!!!
Pray pray pray for strength and healing!! And if you know any secrets on how to raise blood counts or boost immune health please share.
Praising God for all that hes done and all hes going to do. I'm so grateful I serve a loving God!

Cycle 2, Round 1, Day 2 - SPOT FREE!

Specific prayer request of the day: Keep the prayers coming for healing, and clear scans. Pray for Julia's mind to clear and for her to be more herself with the lower dose. Pray that the next scans are completely clear!

From Grandpa David:
-Today has been such a blessing for me. I received a phone call around noon that Juls was upset and wanted to know where Pa Paw was, when I heard this it didn't take me long to close down the store and rush home shower and get myself to the hospital. I called Rachel to let her know I was on my way and she said Juls was sleeping, I got to the hospital and she was still sleeping and within 5 mins. of being there her eyes opened and she heard my voice her head spun around and her smile was so big she grabbed my arm and started hugging it and held on so tight she didn't stop smiling for at least ten mins. She finally let go when we asked if she wanted to go to the Garden Pa paw had to carry her. We sat in the swing, then went to play area and played, finally she was ready to go back to the room. After being in the room for a while her Cancer Dr. came in and was excited about Julia's xray from yesterday she even went and got another computer so she could show Rachel and Richie the good news. Julia's first scan showed what looked like marbling in her lungs and now her lungs just looked white. Praise the Lord. We have just been given a miracle that we all have been praying for. They will do the full scans after this cycle of chemo, bone marrow, and now the lungs God is truly showing us His power and mercy!! I know that God is working through Julia to reach out to me and our family. We just thank the Lord for all the support and love from our huge extended family each and everyone of you. Also as the doctor was in the room showing us the scan we received a text pic. of a double rainbow over Rosebud and I see by others posts that several of you also saw it. I believe it was from God showing us that everything will be alright.

From Momma:
-Juls says mom little people have to teach big people how to be brave

-PRAISE THE LORD!!!!
Juls dr came in and told us the actually couldn't detect ANY cancer with the chest scan!!
The radiologist couldn't see any!!
But since this isn't a CT scan they assume there is some residual cancer....assume!!
Yay praise the Lord!!!
They told us with this cancer is so hard to get out of the lungs!
God is hearing us please praise Him and keep praying.
This is so awesome to see God move.
Also they are lowering her chemo dose due to her neurological reaction

Cycle 2, Round 1, Day 1 - Scans brought good news!

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray that the doctors will listen to Rachel and help them figure out what is causing the changes in Juls. Pray that this cycle is easier for Juls and that she doesn't have to spend as much time between treatments in the hospital. Pray for Janet, Julia's friend in the hospital as well as the nurses and doctors that see this battle every day and fight on.

From Grandpa David:
-Tonight I ask for special prayers for the many skilled Nurses and Doctors that work at Children's hospital each and every day. They are the first responders when the families gets the news of their loved ones illness, they are the ones that treat them while they are sick, they are the ones offering comfort for the families, they are special people to give of themselves to make our loved ones better. I don't know how they do it ,but I thank God for each and every one of them. Lord continue to use these people to do your work. I ask this in Jesus
name Amen!!!!
-Julia is now receiving her chemo they started a couple of hours ago. Her chest scan came back with great news some of spots are completely gone and the remaining spots have all shrank. Praise the Lord. Her care nurse talked like they maybe able to make a copy of the before x ray and then the one of today's so the kids can see that Julia is getting better. She was watching tv and the next thing I knew she was asleep. It was so nice to be able to sit there and hold her she didn't even know they had started. Please keep praying for little angel. I also got to meet Little Janet she is one of Julia's new friends please remember her also in your prayers along with all the other children they all need our prayers.

From Momma:
-So after her round of Ifosfamide (chemo) her speech became slurred, she was staggering and then had an extreme angry outburst kicking and hitting. She threw herself on the floor and wet herself. anyone who knows Juls knows she doesn't do this!!
Then she immediately fell asleep.
I can't get the dr to take me serious as I am extremely concern for neurological side effects.
Please pray for her

-The news everyone is waiting for....her cancer in her lungs has gotten smaller and some is completely gone!!!!
Keep praying
Gods hearing us

Waiting in prayer

Specific prayer request of the day: Pray for the scans tomorrow, pray that Juls is cancer free!

From Grandpa David:
-Lord we come to you this evening Thanking You for laying your healing hands on Our Little Julia, we know it's by your power and grace that we have already experienced a blessing by having her bone marrow come back clean. Lord we ask that you continue to lay your hands on her lungs, lymph nodes, liver, and her leg and anywhere else this terrible cancer may be. Lord we are praying for miraculous results with tomorrow's scan. Be with Rachel and Richie tonight Lord because it is so hard to have to wait for what seems like eternity for tomorrow to get here. Give them safe travel back to the hospital in the morning. Also be with the rest of the children during Rachel and Richie's absence. For all these things I ask in Jesus name Amen!!!!!!!!

From Momma:
-God is so amazing
He knew I needed someone to pray with me . The UPS man stopped to give me a package and said I feel God telling me to pray with you and he asked if that was ok. Such a wonderful prayer.
Thank you

Back at the park enjoying time with Aly!
-"To you be the glory forever, to you be the glory Lord amen"
Praying and expecting great things tomorrow!
My soul can't rest!
