From Momma:
-Sitting here with Juls in my lap. She sleeps in my lap most of the night. Fever still up and down. Still no ANC!
She active and not just laying in bed.
This could take a while to recover. So we are skipping chemo tomorrow
and hoping next Friday she'll be able to start her 6 day round again.
From Grandma Mary Ann:
-The last few days have been so hard on Julia. She's such a trooper.
Her face is still really swollen today. She tried to eat a bite of
pancake, but her mouth is so swollen, it didn't go well. But, she's
still drinking sweet tea from McDonalds. Please pray for her white
cells to start coming up so she can fight the infection. She's on
different types of antibiotics, but the doctor said it is hard for them
to work while her ANC is 0. Also pray that she will be able to eat soon
so she can stay strong. Thank you for your continued prayers.
From Grandpa David:
-Just got home been a busy day at hospital today. I got there early so I
could spend sometime with Julia, she was glad to get her tea. Her jaw is
still swollen and still hurting she is now talking but not eating. She
wanted to go to the play area but had to wait till it was closed and
cleaned She was upset because she had to wait. She just wanted out of
her room , but had to wait. I carried her to the play area at 12:00 so
she could play she was happy to finally get to be there. I received a
call From Jamie that her and Jaron were there so I met with them and we
went to meetings with Drs he had several test to get ready for his
spine surgery. Please keep him in your prayers also his surgery date is
Nov.19th. While he was waiting to have some of his tests I went and
checked on Julia she wanted me to rock her so I did and let Mom and Dad
go take a break. While I was Carol went and got him and Myah and kept
them till we got home. When we were leaving I stopped and told Juls that
I loved her and she actually came back with I love you to Paw Paw and
good buy, it was good to hear but sad to see the look on her face.
Please to continue to pray that Julia's white blood cells return and that
her fever stops coming back and that her mouth heals so she can eat
again, Dear Lord give Rachel and Richie strength they have not been
getting much sleep.
About Me
Please join us to support a brave little girl in the fight of her life. Julia (Juls) Stone was recently diagnosed with and will BEAT stage four Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of childhood bone cancer. She is a sweet and spunky little girl with a great deal of spirit. Her greatest champions are her mom and dad - Richie and Rachel. She is part of a loving Christian family made up of Richie, Rachel, 3 adopted children (Mackenzie, Ally, and Andrew) and two biological children (Julia and Ahnika). The family lives in southern Missouri and must travel to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis for Juls’ treatments. The medical and travel costs will be enormous so Team Juls is lending support in any way possible. We are rallying together to provide prayers, well-wishes and fundraising events. We aim to lend spiritual and emotional support and to ease the financial impact of medical/travel expenses for Juls' family during this tough time. Please join the fight with Team Juls!
There are a several ways to lend your support for Juls, so please reference the How You Can Help tab for more information. Thank you for your prayers all the support!
