About Me

Please join us to support a brave little girl in the fight of her life. Julia (Juls) Stone was recently diagnosed with and will BEAT stage four Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of childhood bone cancer. She is a sweet and spunky little girl with a great deal of spirit. Her greatest champions are her mom and dad - Richie and Rachel. She is part of a loving Christian family made up of Richie, Rachel, 3 adopted children (Mackenzie, Ally, and Andrew) and two biological children (Julia and Ahnika). The family lives in southern Missouri and must travel to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis for Juls’ treatments. The medical and travel costs will be enormous so Team Juls is lending support in any way possible. We are rallying together to provide prayers, well-wishes and fundraising events. We aim to lend spiritual and emotional support and to ease the financial impact of medical/travel expenses for Juls' family during this tough time. Please join the fight with Team Juls!
There are a several ways to lend your support for Juls, so please reference the How You Can Help tab for more information. Thank you for your prayers all the support!

Day Six of Chemo

August 19th, 2014 - Day Six - Roughest Yet

Specific prayer request of the day:  (requested by family as Rachel hasn't made a request yet today) Pray for strength for the whole family, particularly Rachel and Richie in the hospital with Julia all this week. Pray for peace for them as they lead their family in faith through action, and as they get to take her home. Continue to pray for strong counts and healing for Juls as she could go home tomorrow.

From Momma:
-Today was the roughest day for Juls. She couldn't eat drink or really move. She went to the garden a few times but just sat with her head in my lap. So sad. I hope the next couple days she starts feeling better. Today was the roughest for me too. So overwhelming with all the "education" they throw at you and then run out. Plus seeing my baby sick :0(

-She finished her first round chemo last night
She had 5 days of it so now she will rest for 2 weeks. Then its back for more. She definitely doesn't feel well today :0( hopefully going home tomorrow will change that.

Thank you from Grandpa David:
-I would like to offer a special Thanks to everyone that has helped us get Juls home ready for her return tomorrow. God has played a big role in providing us with the tools and needs, we were needing to have the ducts cleaned and I look up and the cleaning truck was pulling into the gas station right next to us and it just happened to be one of Rachel's best friends from school they came from the station right over and did the job. We needed someone to lay some carpet and at 5:00 Alex shows up with his tools 2 hrs later the job was done JUST AMAZING again thank you all we couldn't have done it with out you!!!!!
